AFEL(Agricultural Facilities and Environment Lab)은 전남대학교 지역·바이오시스템공  학과 소속 연구실로, 농업시설 환경, 스마트농업, 축산환경 제어 등 다양한 분야에서 폭넓은 연구를 수행하고 있습니다.

CFD 시뮬레이션, 현장 실험, 데이터 기반 분석, AI 활용 등 융합적인 연구 방법을 통해 실제 농업 현장에 적용 가능한 기술 개발에 힘쓰고 있습니다.

또한 연구실 구성원 간의 활발한 소통과 협력을 바탕으로 서로 배우고 성장하는 분위기를 형성하고 있으며, 지도교수님의 체계적인 지도 아래 전문성과 연구 역량을 지속적으로 향상시키고 있습니다. 

AFEL (Agricultural Facilities and Environment Lab) is a research laboratory in the Department of Rural and Biosystems Engineering at Chonnam National University, conducting a wide range of research in diverse fields such as agricultural facility environments, smart agriculture, and livestock environmental control.
Through integrated research approaches including CFD simulations, field experiments, data-driven analysis, and AI applications, the laboratory strives to develop technologies that can be directly applied to real agricultural practices.
In addition, the lab fosters a collaborative and supportive environment where members actively communicate and grow together, while continuously enhancing their expertise and research capabilities under the systematic guidance of the principal investigator.
